With over 100,000 active installs, Max Mega Menu is a very popular menu plugin for WordPress. Working closely with the owner, Tom Hemsley, we were tasked with developing the brand and website to sell the ‘Pro’ version of the plugin.
WordPress plugins operate in a highly competitive market. Often the plugins are free, with paid upgrades to gain access to improved functionality. This means that successfully communicating the plugins features and reasons to upgrade are very important to the plugins success. In order to achieve this and to help build an identity for the plugin, we created a set of custom illustrations – each targeted at a specific feature set.
WordPress plugins come in all shapes and sizes – some good, some bad! Users look to reviews and recent updates to help validate the quality of the plugin, but nothing beats a great demo to really sell the plugins features. We worked with Tom to understand the diverse options the plugin allowed for and then designed a demo, placed front and centre on the website. Couple with a strong message and usp’s, developers can get a great understanding of the plugin right on the homepage.
"From the initial call through to final delivery of the project, Mark and his team were professional and responsive. I'm delighted with the results and have no hesitation in recommending Karolo to others!"
