Celtic English Academy
Producing a welcoming and easy-to-update new website that increases student applications and positions Cardiff as a prime study destination.
Hot on the tails of an exciting rebrand, Celtic English Academy enlisted our help in creating a website that would better reflect the school’s reputation for quality education. As a fellow Cardiff-based company, we were excited to use the design to showcase the very best the city has to offer.
Our Solution
Celtic are experts in warmly welcoming people who are far from home. To put prospective students at ease, we designed a clear and simple navigation that makes their wealth of useful information easy to digest. We were spoiled for choice with their collection of photos and videos which we featured front and centre of the design to create an engaging and visually impressive website.
We enhanced the user experience while cutting the team’s admin times by integrating the new college website with their existing software. To top it all off, Celtic staff now have full control of the website content giving them the freedom to keep their course information up to date without our input.
Christ College Brecon
With its excellent exam results, stunning scenery, and compassionate community spirit, it is no surprise that Christ College Brecon is one of the best boarding schools in the country. The team at Christ College Brecon came to us to discuss a dramatic revamp of their school website, with the goal of boosting admission requests.
Our Solution
With tens of thousands of visitors expecting the best of the best, this website needed to be more than just a pretty face. Responsive banners throughout the site make an impact across all devices and screen sizes while bold page layouts create balance with text content.
A full-screen homepage video warmly welcomes the user to a virtual tour of the school grounds while a simple button encourages them to explore the real thing by attending an open day.
Sure, there’s a lot of information on this website, but our simple navigation design makes child’s play of browsing Christ College’s opportunities (see what we did there?). Plus, with a short training session in our studio, the staff now have full ability to edit the website themselves. Bonus!
Aloud Charity
Building an easy-to-use bilingual website for the Welsh charity that harnesses the power of music to make a difference.
In little more than a decade, The Aloud Charity have amassed a staggering catalogue of achievements, with over 300 members in choirs around Wales today. They’d outgrown their humble old website, so we jumped in to create something that showcases their inspiring activities and encourages more people to get involved.
Our Solution
This project was a great opportunity to flex our creative muscles! We made use of their bold brand colours and speech-bubble logo to add personality throughout the site, including movement in all the right places.
There were so many audiences to appeal to with this one. From kids and their parents signing up for choirs, to corporations investing in the charity, the clear-cut navigation structure means everyone can easily find the information they need. Meanwhile, the fully bilingual charity website allows users to switch from English to Welsh at the drop of a hat.
