A bit about the project
When the marketing team at Blackwood Engineering sent us their brief, it was clear they knew exactly what they were looking for. From user experience to lead generation, their old website just wasn’t doing what they needed it to. Working closely with their team, we set about designing a modernised website that would help position them as the market leader they strive to be.
One of their main goals was to increase brand awareness, so we designed every page to demonstrate the quality of their products and services. Simple navigation and clear content layouts give the user a clear look at what’s on offer. We even created a custom map animation which dynamically displays their global network of partner suppliers and customers.
They needed a website that appeals to users around the globe, which led us to implementing a variety of translation methods for visitors to browse in Chinese, Dutch, French and more. And, of course, we tested and tweaked the site thoroughly to make sure every page worked perfectly on mobile devices.
A dedicated contact form in the careers section allows potential employees to apply for vacancies right on the site, while integration with Blackwood’s CRM system slashes their admin workloads. The final product successfully promotes their USPs and encourages quality leads. We’re delighted with the end result and, more importantly, Blackwood Engineering are too!
