About the Project
When celebrated aesthetic consultant Dr Ros asked for our help in designing a brand identity and website for her new training company, we jumped at the chance. We quickly learned that Dr Ros wanted to empower and inspire her students with empathy, medical excellence and the confidence to grow their business, and we were excited to transform these values into a sophisticated identity.
An empowering brand for a medical trailblazer
Step one was coming up with a business name that summed up Dr Ros’ values and ambitions. After many a brainstorming session, we decided on “Calla”, a lily with a long history symbolising beauty. While its symbolic beauty creates a direct link to the aesthetic side of the business, its association with rebirth also beautifully reflects the academy’s process of transforming students into exceptional aesthetic practitioners. Et voila, Calla Aesthetics Training was born!
Name decided, we set about designing the perfect logo. Dr Ros is a first-class aesthetician, so we knew that the brand identity needed to radiate credibility. To achieve this we opted for a rich purple background accented by a luxurious gold, and the logo icon itself was inspired by the sophisticated shape of a calla lily. It’s refined, recognizable and just oozes confidence.
A prestigious web presence
We started designing the website with the brand’s core purple and gold colours, but noticed that the purple on its own was a bit domineering. We then introduced delicate floral illustrations throughout the website, breaking up the bold backgrounds for a much more welcoming feel.
This website is just PACKED with information, so we employed a simple page structure to allow prospective students to find their dream course in a flash. We then linked all of the course calls-to-action to a client-managed Kajabi account, making the signup process a doddle for students and administrators alike.
Oodles of brand graphics
Alongside the logo and website, we whipped up a whopping collection of printed literature and digital graphics for the new brand. From stationery to training documents, we made sure every material they took into the big wide world was spot on. Some of the items we designed include:

- Course prospectuses
- Branded training PowerPoints
- Letterheads and Word templates
